What are your experiences of working in partnership? We know the success of partnerships in the voluntary and community sector (VCS) vary greatly and we want to hear about your experiences.
Voice4Change England is running a series of focus groups ‘Exploring Partnership Working’ to consider the nature of partnership working between BME and non-BME organisations in London in order support and encourage fairer partnerships, resulting in cohesive and rationalised services to local communities.

Job vacancy: Media, Marketing and Communications Officer
Voice4Change England is looking to strengthen its staff team and we are looking for an exceptional person with the
right skills with immediate availability to join our small team and take the lead in enhancing our external profile with members and key stakeholders by maximising opportunities using new media. The post is funded by the funded by the National Lottery through the Big Lottery Fund and the project aims to strengthen the voice of the BME Third Sector. Location: Central London
Hours: 21 hours per week
Salary: Up to £25,194 (ILW) pro rata -
Help Compact Voice understand what’s happening locally
The second annual survey of Local Compacts is now open. Compact Voice are encouraging voluntary and community organisations to take 10 minutes to fill in the survey – and are offering everyone who completes the survey the chance to win an Amazon Kindle. -
Bursary scheme for not London organisers
Charities that are based outside London and meet the eligibility criteria could receive a bursary to attend a CES training course at Charities Evaluation Services (CES) training venue in London.CES have recently been awarded a grant from The Lankelly Chase Foundation to offer a bursary scheme for non-London organisations to attend CES training. The bursary can be used to attend either a one-day or two-day course.

Big Society and the future for equality

On 9th February 2012 a mix of BME and other specialist voluntary and community organisations, generic VCOs and public sector organisations gathered at Voice4Change England’s Big Society and Equality event held in partnership with One North West.
